The CiaoGym store project, designed by architect Eleonora Palazzi in collaboration with architect Lucia Sorrentino, was created with the aim of translating the identity of the Italian activewear brand into space. The first flagship store is located in Rome, on Via Frattina: a symbolic location, chosen to strongly affirm the brand’s positioning within one of the most exclusive and prestigious contexts of the capital. <\/p>\n
For a project of this nature, in which every element had to be exclusive and perfectly consistent with CiaoGym’s values, Antonacci Falegnamerie’s contribution was central. From the early stages, the carpentry workshop supported the design team in the selection of materials, the development of samples and the definition of construction drawings, contributing significantly to the translation of the concept into concrete technical solutions. <\/p>\n
Everything was made to measure: no mass production, but an authentically bespoke process in which every detail was studied, prototyped and perfected. The arches, inspired by classical Italian architecture and reinterpreted in a contemporary key, were engineered and constructed using supermirror steel, ensuring precision, visual continuity and a strong visual impact. Similarly, elements such as backlit plexiglass were technically developed to achieve a uniform and sophisticated light output, capable of enhancing the product without overwhelming it. <\/p>\n
Particularly significant was the use of Lycra (the brand’s signature material) applied as an architectural covering. This distinctive solution required specific skills to ensure perfect tension, impeccable aesthetics and durability over time, transforming a high-performance fabric into a spatial surface with a strong identity. <\/p>\n
