Metropolis is one of our most evocative panelling designs, created as a tribute to unexpected encounters and the energies that flow through a futuristic city. The inspiration is rooted in Fritz Lang’s 1927 masterpiece, Metropolis, a film that translated into images the tension between architecture and soul, order and movement, geometry and vision.

In this panelling, square and rigorous lines intersect like the pulsating arteries of an urban centre teeming with life. Each intersection seems to evoke a passage, a connection, an unexpected possibility: a three-dimensional map that does not merely decorate, but suggests an imaginary journey into the city of the future. The geometries, drawing rhythm and depth, become living architecture, capable of generating movement and intensity even in a static space. Metropolis is an encounter between memory and avant-garde, between the evocative power of cinema and the living material of wood: an invitation to experience space as if it were part of a great work in continuous transformation. The texture, the result of skilful brushing and finishing of the wood, enhances the natural material and transforms it into an architectural surface.
