The Goethe Hotel in Rome is a project in which travel and memory, hospitality and storytelling intertwine like the pages of a travel diary. Italian craftsmanship is the language and wood is the narrative. The lobby welcomes guests with an endless custom-made bookcase suspended above a floor inlaid with a compass rose: an invitation to embark on a contemporary Grand Tour, where every step takes you beyond the boundaries of time and space.
In the suites, inspiration comes to life in an ideal journey from Venice to Florence and on to Naples. Each room becomes a tribute to a different cultural territory: here, Fortuny tapestries dialogue with antique instruments, while wood and precious essences recount the stratification of history, with plays of light shaping surfaces and proportions. Our work has accompanied this evocative journey, transforming matter and space into a tangible experience: surfaces, furnishings and details are evidence of a journey. The Goethe Hotel Roma is thus a place where classicism is renewed, memory becomes present and every guest becomes a traveller in a timeless story.
